(Tahitipresse) - Before appearing on theAugust cover of Harper's Bazaar magazinewearing nothing but a gigantic diamondnecklace, a very pregnant Britney Spearsturned out for the Nickelodeon Teen ChoiceAwards wearing a Tahitian cultured pearldrop necklace.
The platinum and diamond skull with Tahitianpearl drop was the creation of Los Angelesjewelry designer Erica Courtney, who runsDrop Dead Gorgeous.

While wearing the same new look of black hair, instead of bleached blonde, Ms. Spears was slightly moreclothed on Aug. 20 than she was when she posed for the magazine cover photo on June 22. Fashionphotographer Alexi Lubomirski took several photos, but the magazine only published the cover photo, while othershots have surfaced on several Internet blogs without permission from Harper's Bazaar. The August issue of themagazine went on sale in the U.S.A. in late July.

The photos were reminiscent of actress Demi Moore"s famous Vanity Fair magazine cover in August 1991, whenshe posed very pregnant and completely nude.

Meanwhile, the news media has reported that Britney Spears checked into the UCLA Santa Monica MedicalCenter last Thursday, creating speculation the 24-year-old singer might be preparing for a cesarean section birthat any moment. Her first child, Sean Preston, will be a year old soon. A cesarean section was used for his birth,which occurred at the same hospital.

According to the Eye On Gambling Internet Web site, several online sports books have odds on whether Ms.Spears and husband Kevin Federline will become parents of a baby boy or girl. "One sports book even has oddson twins, which are currently set at 100-1."

But Richard Jones from Cascade Sports Book told Eye on Gambling, "I believe Britney Spears will have a babygirl from inside sources I know. We have odds set at 2-1 that she will be delivering a girl."

And the Web site Canada.com reported, "The couple will reportedly name their daughter Jailynn, a mixture ofSpears' mother's name (Lynne) and father's name (Jamie). The singer's younger sister is named Jamie Lynn.

US Weekly claims Ms. Spears still does not know whether the baby will be a boy or a girl.
