International celebrity hat designer Philip Treacy wowed crowds with his second Paris haute couture showing on July 10. The "pièce-de-résistance" was an elegant black satin hat, designed with a broad rim, to give the wearer a little mystery and a forward tilting top, to give the admirer a view of the amazing Tahiti Cultured Pearls and the spectacular spouting plumage of rare Yokohama chicken feathers.

Treacy has been named British accessory designer of the year five times since his first professional show in 1993. Knowing a good fashion element when he sees it, Treacy considers Tahiti Cultured Pearls to have magical qualities.
