International recognition

A Commitment to Quality

Two events have greatly boosted the international recognition of the Tahitian pearls.

First, the Gemological Institute of America officially recognized the natural color of Tahiti's cultured pearls in 1976.

Second, The International Confederation of Jewellery, Silverware, Diamonds, Pearls and Stones (CIBJO) adopted the commercial term "Tahiti Cultured Pearl" in 1989.
