UNRATH & STRANO LUXURY COUTURE DRESS
WITH REAL SCHOEFFEL PEARLS

Berlin/Stuttgart: After the first, very successful co-operation between the luxury pearl brand Schoeffel and the Berlin fashion label UNRATH & STRANO at the presentation of the fall/winter collection 05/06 in February this year, the co-operation was continued with the new collection. The two designers, Klaus Unrath and Ivan Strano, renown for their fancy and glamorous collections, created something special for the new Pret à Porter de Luxe summer collection 2006: an exclusive pearl Couture dress, hand embroidered with cultured pearls of Schoeffel. For the corsage dress with beige coloured snake taffeta, Tahiti and fresh water cultured pearls were used in different natural colours and shapes. The cocktail dress with the suitable underskirt becomes an extravagant creation of pearls jewellery and design.

About UNRATH & STRANO
Klaus Unrath, who chose to live in Berlin, designed collections for British fashion icon Vivienne Westwood for five years. Since 2001 he has been teaching alongside her at the city’s renowned University of the Arts. He founded the label in 1999 in London with his partner, Italian Ivan Strano, who had previously worked on a number of stages and at international theatres. After presentations in London, Düsseldorf, Berlin, Paris, Rome (Alta Moda), Dubai and Milan, the German designers are showing their new collection for the second time at Milan Fashion Week in September 2005.
